What do you think about a theme for AI Beneficiaries? These would not be the Providers of infrastructure, data, software or consumer applications so much as they would be the business beneficiaries of the AI revolution. I don't know what might fit into this category, but there are surely some beneficiaries. Perhaps even a megacap like MSFT?

Say more, John. When I think of beneficiaries, I think of all the companies in the world that could benefit from using AI. Do you mean AI infused into a product that makes it more product-market fit? MSFT is a provider of AI solutions imo. Cheers

I’m not thinking of any company in particular. I think the promise of AI is that it will benefit many people and organizations in many ways, not just the organizations making the hardware and the software and supplying/organizing the data. Just as a for-instance, is there a call-center company that doesn’t produce AI but which is positioned relative to its peers to benefit greatly from using AI? Or maybe the company just has a big head start, so the it has a big short-term advantage?

Well, I am hanging on to my VST for now. But agreement on everything would be boring. And my favorite e-commerce is MELI, yeah there is a lot of turmoil south of the USA, but when has that not been so? 6.6% fcf yield, 33% fcf margin with 34.9 % rev growth and lots of unmet needs with fewer competitors.

I agree with you Beach. Except you think that hyper scaler capex spend will slow down in 2025.

MS recently announced plans to spend $80B in 2025 on data centers. Doesn't sound like it's slowing down but growing.

True that the hyperscalers have announced big 2025 capex spend plans. My expectation is that they will cut back those plans in couple of quarters because AI revenues will slow down, macro will be a bit subdued and they will have to cut spend to maintain earnings growth. Somewhat similar to what happened to META when they were all gung ho about the metaverse and Wall Street reminded them to take a chill pill and focus on running the business at hand
