It was on TCAF with Michael Cembalest. I think AI is going to take much longer to develop than most people think.

Beach: Good thoughts. Just a note, the transcript was a bit choppy in places but I don't think too much was lost in translation. I really believe with AI companies you will have to separate the wheat from the chaff. I was listening to a podcast a couple days ago and the guest on the show said he was in a conference with the CEO of Nividia recently, and he was asked in the next two to three years, how our lives, practically speaking, will be changed by generative AI and Large Language Models. He said he was surprised how non-commital he was. He did kinda answer the question, but it wasn't anything mind blowing.

Thanks Marina. I also heard that anecdote...probably from the same podcast...I cannot remember which one. Not sure of the details and why Jensen's response was not viewed positively. Perhaps a sign of over optimistic expectations from AI and how much it is going to "revolutionize" our daily lives. I suspect people think AI is going to cook their meals, walk their dogs and auto respond to their work emails while they lounge on the beach.😂. Jokes aside, I recommend listening to the NVDA earnings calls from 2022. In several of them the AI topic comes up and Jensen provides a master class on how AI is going to redefine business and industrial productivity. I vividly remember listening to those earnings calls and his amazing Q&A responses while going for my evening runs. Cheers!
